Movie Night/Lights Out

I was going to stop home, check on Gypsy and go to the movies. I go to the movies free on Tuesday and I figured that would be cool to start doing. I love the movies. Anyway as I got off the parkway I saw two blue flashes that looked like they were doing low fireworks by the beach. then the lights went out. I figured it was a transformer. hen I got to my street and still no lights I figured it was something bigger and headed to the theater.

That was a mistake. - I got stuck on 365 with all the traffic lights off for MILES. I was in the car for 2 hours trying to turn around and go home. When I got home the power on my street and two others was back on. Weird.

Our lights blinked at the store for a second, and a few minutes later, the father of one of the employees called to let us know what had happened, and he said that 3/4 of Monmouth County was out. So, we quickly called Jeff's Mom to make sure that she wasn't affected, for her oxygen machine. She was not.

Sorry that you got caught in the traffic.
