The house I'm in the process of buying has an abandoned underground oil tank. I have the permits showing it's done but not the certificate of "No Further Action" letter from the state. The company that did the work is no longer in business.

NJ is offering a grant to assist in removal of the tank. From what i can find out it would be $800 out of pocket.

Does anyone have any experience with underground oil tanks and removal, etc?
