Week ender

guywithmonstersMr Bear came home from work sick Friday night and missed the chorus retreat. He was feeling better by bed time last night but he's still not 100% (though I'm not worried anymore).
Work was OK yesterday and we actually have people scheduled for today so I'll be getting a "real" paycheck or half of one since we only worked one day last week end. I'm hoping to get the highlighting done on my English article. I read it and it's awful which sucks. That just makes analyzing it harder/more annoying.
I'm waffling between making Gingerbread cookies or spice cookies for the holidays. I made Gingerbread last year, but I really liked them (though no one else seemed to). Maybe I'll just do them gain and say 'fuck it'. I made gingerbread bears an they were really cute. I'm getting better at which cookies will keep for the bake sale. I do want to make Lime Melt Aways, which will have powdered sugar - not the best for a tin of loose cookies - but I want to make them. Again, "fuck it".
I like sayng "fuck it" this morning. LOL

Date: 2006-11-13 05:08 am (UTC)Whenever I have to make transportable cookie fare, I always do the standard toll house recipe...except I add (sometimes a cup or more) extra flour. It makes them less breakable, but really good, and a little more cookie like instead of gooey like.
