Before I head off to class - a few notable moments from clinic yesterday....
Mr Bear has a bad case of bronchitis (after finally going to the doc yesterday) and is on mad medication. I think this is the first time he's been out sick from work for more than one day since I met him. He already seems a little better, but had to go to court this morning for a ticket (a la Mr Reyes ;-P)..
I'm still tirred and achey with my allergies adding to the sneezing, scratching fun. Man, I wish I had health insurance and a prescription plan....anyway, I'm off to class.
Oh yeah, I'm trying to get back on a schedule of sorts for house chores and stuff. This semester I've been all over the map and not really keeping up with stuff. Wish me luck.
- "Make way for my vagina!" from a running tech
- I received a free lunch for catching a bird that had somehow got into the department. It was weird because people were totally afraid of this little bird while it was happening (except for Jeff who got a sheet to try to catch it as well) but totally jaded about it after the fact.
- I got irradiated accidentally (barely anything due to where I was when it happened) and the come back from the button pusher was "come one, you're not going to have children" which cracked me up. It was a small dose and a total accident but pretty funny.
- One of the techs suddenly thinks my name is "George".
