Callas/Callous

I had never heard Marie Callas' voice so I bought a EMI CD of "Il Pirata" at HousingWorks the other day. The case said it had poor audio quality due to the quality of the original recording but damn. Her voice is amazing but the sound quality is so poor I feel like I'm missing a lot.
Can anyone recommend a good recording of Marie Callas for a curious opera novice?
I bought Mr Bear a Coach watch last Christmas (?) and it needs to be repaired. We sent it in to the place and they're dicking me around about needing the warranty card in their hands in order to honor it. This is after a previous rep said we could fax a copy of it to her and she would take care of things. Mind you, the paper work the Coach store gave us to send it in (complete with a mailer/envelope) only asked for the warranty number. I know where they are and I'm about to call back and let her know I am driving the card up to her.
This is why I shop at Sears, KMart and Target - they wouldn't dream of charging you $500 for a watch and they're too afraid of their clientele to dick you around with false promises.
Anyway, I'm sorting that out.
After 9 months it appears JC Penny is actually going to replace the broken buffet. :-)
I swear the "warranty and exchange" policies of most places are designed to make people give up on having their warranty honored. I guess it's good that I'm such a tenacious bitch.
I haven't gotten to study yet today but I've gotten a crazy amount of stuff done.
