Don't Get It Right, Get It Done

Those were the words of wisdom from the designers of one of the greatest textile houses ever to grace U.S. shores - Scalamandre. We were hanging a retrospective of the company's work in the small textile museum I worked at in college.
Today, I am totally taking that advice and running with it.
I'm making the chair covers for the dinning room. These are just to keep the animal hair and light off the regular seat upholstery. I got some amazingly cheap white polyester crepe which has a much stiffer hand than I thought it did then I bought it. I knew it had some stains but there is a rip through most of the middle that I didn't see as it was 2 yards into the piece. So, instead of obsessing about it I am simply getting the job done. They wont be too pretty but they'll do what they need to.
If I wait to get more/better fabric or to rethink it they wot get done until Summer.
Anyway, that's my morning so far.
