guywithmonsters | Here's the deal, kids

If you are offered something on Freecycle be gracious and come and get it. Don't email asking the person (me) to hold it for a month for you or meet you someplace with it. If you really want or need the printer/cordless phone you'll come all the way across town to pick it up.

People amaze me.

Oh yeah, a polite "thank you" email is nice, but a polite email inquiring about the object with full sentences is mandatory. I'm just deleting the "still got?" and "where" emails. They seriously just say "where", most don't even have punctuation. Those were 4 out of many in my freecycle career but it's been 3 this week. An ugly trend.

I'm going gallery hopping. Brian was going with me but double booked a meeting for 10 AM. I'm heading in now and that would have had us leaving about 11:30/12. The day's gone then and we'd be driving home in rush hour traffic. I think I was short with him about it, at the least I sounded annoyed. It just got to me. I'll call him tonight to make sure he isn't mad at me.

It's my last day of vacation and I'm pretty set against being productive. :-)
