Help a guy out - Take a minute to fill out my poll.

Mr Bear comes home today. :-) I'm a drift today with no real agenda and it's fabulous. Of course, the girls are a little put out by breakfast being late. {smirk}

I can't believe line item veto passed and I missed it. I'm not sure if there's just less coverage of Congress lately or things are just silently moving through.

Time to putter. :-)

A Series of Unfortunate Events

I stopped at the bank on the way home from the town dump. Because I didn't intend on being "in public" when I got dressed this morning I was dressed "bummy".

It isn't until I am walking across the bank lobby to the coin exchange that I remember that these shorts have a nickel sized hole in the back.

And that I'm not wearing underwear.

I try to pull my T shirt down a little lower in back.... There's a problem with the coin counter and I have to call the teller over. I feel awkward, trying to keep my butt to the wall and clutching the giant gummy bear looking piggy bank. The teller pauses to stair at my chest and I realize that I'm not just clutching a big, plastic bear but I'm also wearing rainbow tie dye. I think she's thinking I'm a stoner until I clue in that she's reading my T Shirt.

My T Shirt has a ruler on it with "Eight Uncut." written above it in big black letters.

I may never go to that branch again.
