The problem with school
Feb. 6th, 2006 05:14 pmThe problem with school is that it's for almost 12 hours on Mondays, with two breaks - one is an hour long and this one is an hour and a half (during which I run home to feed the dogs and let them out). That's a long time to be sitting in a windowless room trying to pay attention.
It also means that I've pretty much forgotten the lecture by the next class (and the quiz). I'm going to have to adjust my studying schedule to dedicate Sunday to studying instead of doing it Wednesday and Friday afternoons like I am now. It sucks because it's less time to spend with Mr Bear but it's necessary. Besides - it wouldn't be all day on Sunday, at least not every week.
Yeah, I could say it is "the challenge with school" but why pretend it's that interesting?
I had the misfortune to be talking when class started this afternoon so the room got suddenly quiet when I said "..all this fucking math. I should have been a florist. I mean, I just want a baby." to which our professor reposnds "I heard that" and starts handing back papers. Nice. [smirk]
Back to school.
