Gee Davey!

They're bringing back "Davie and Goliath" for a Christmas Special. I loved these shows. Granted, they were thinly veiled Christian parables meant to bring me into the fold, but the Lutherans failed - I grew up to be an ethically minded pagan. I remember the shows being very strong on what is right and wrong (so maybe that part worked) but I don't recall noticing anything religious about them at the time. I saw an episode a few years ago and they're definitely religious. I probably just tuned that out as a kid.

Anyway, I hope they don't screw it up. The snow board makes me worry that they're going to try and make him cool. He was never cool.

Color Me Relieved

Took the final - no real idea how I did - at least it's over. I know I got one question wrong. A simple formula from chapter 2 - how to convert Fahrenheit to Celsius. I completely blanked. Took the exam and came back to it and finally just guessed.

I'm always amazed at the things I loose hold of - usually it's names. I'll see someone I've met before and I'll be able to remember freaky details about the conversation or where we were when we met but I'll have no idea w
hat their name is. Sometimes I forget an ingredient when shopping and I’ll get home and realize I forgot to buy eggs to bake the cake with, etc. I'll have remembered every other freaky thing and random details (like a certain color sprinkle or candles for the person event..).

Anyway, I'm DONE for the semester. :-)

I forgot how great this feels.
