Monday, Monday..

Today brings the hope of catching breakfast with my fiend Pat before she returns t Florida. (Why do people I love move to Florida?) After that I don't have much planned. I'm at a logistical impasse with the word collages - I need to figure out a way to hang them before I start. While working that out I've started in a whole other direction in my mental sketches. I'm not so good with staying the course before I start. It's all fluid. [smirk]

OK, time for a shower and to hit the road.

Love is the Devil

I watched "Love is the Devil" last night. It's a pseudo bio pic on Francis Bacon that focused on his relationship with his lover, George Dyer. Very cool. I totally recommend it.

Breakfast with Pat just fell through so I'm off to wander Manhattan. A few galleries and maybe some shopping (mostly the window variety ;-)).

I got a few random chores done around the house this weekend/this morning, both regular things and things off my "Big To Do's". Here's my list so far...

Replace light bulb in the recessed light in Family Room
Trim ball topiaries out front
Buy plant for around patio
Plant plants (partly done)
Pick up odds and ends from Megan's
Get hanging mech done for collages on wood panels
Get oil changed in my car
Laundry
Food Shopping
Go to the library (Going on way to the city)
Paint Dinning Room
Finish slip covers for family room chairs
Organize 'pantry' down stairs (started :-))
Organize kitchen cabinets
Revolution for dogs (need to do today)
Dogs to groomer's

Oh, Pat just called - I'm, driving them to the airport. No city for me today! At least I'll get to see her for a bit before we go. I'll work out the mounting/and/or a new foundation while I drive. Sometimes that helps. :-)
