Did anyone watch this?

It was pretty cool. I love Alan Cummings. I really like Betty, though the song they sang wasn't my favorite. Mostly, I was just thrilled to see Queer folks who hadn't been sanitized, neutered or de-politicized.

Mr. Bear liked his present. He gave me some clothes last night. He's so funny. He bought me a pair of pants that I really liked. He said "I knew you would like them because I hated them". lol

Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] macushla I now have "Lips Like Sugar" stuck in my head.

It replaced "Running Up That Hill" which was stuck there by [livejournal.com profile] seasoulsky earlier today.

What gives with you people and the super catchy song posts today?

Anyway, it was a busy day - in a nice way. I'm glad that work is starting to roll back in.

A few people have mentioned to Mr bear and myself that we should do something else for our anniversary because we are "always going to dinner and a show". We both find it amusing because we usually eat really cheap and get tickets at a discount. this is our one expensive dinner of the year. Even that isn't necessary. We just enjoy each other's company.

Mr bear's co worker's seemed bent on our getting a hotel room for Valentine's Day. Mr Bear says "why when we'll just have a smaller bathroom and be as comfortable as at home?". I had to laugh because he's right.

We talked about it last night and came to the conclusion that people think that this is a once or twice a year time to be romantic and good to each other (Valentine's Day and Anniversary). The logic follows that if you are romantic and thoughtful year round these two days have to be extreme. Why? If we bring each other flowers or presents occasionally does it mean we need to get three times as much on these two days? That's just silly.

Mr Bear is working late tonight and then has bowling so I can eat out on the way home and then work out tonight. Maybe I'll take a bath after that. :-)

I'm out of here for today.
