For Whom the Bell Tolls (Wedding Variety)

Jon and Jerry's Wedding is tonight. It's been coming forever and I'm oddly indifferent. I love these guys and the wedding will be great, but I am just completely neutral about it right now. It's weird. Considering how much has gone into the planning that I've been witness or privy too, one would think I'd be excited about it. Or have some feeling either way. Maybe I'm just tired.

I know I'll have a great time when I get there. I'm just happy it's happening for them and hope it lives up to their expectations. They've been together for years and really deserve to celebrate their union.

Anyway, I'm going to get their present at lunch and wrap it. Not much else to do today (aside from work) except printing directions and getting dressed to go. I wish I had something great to wear, but oh well. Money's tight and a new shirt and tie are not something I really need.

I watched the last of "The Nights of Cabiria", which was wonderful. It's so sweet and beautiful. The best Felini film I've ever seen. I added "The White Sheik" to my list in Netflix. I didn't know she's a minor character from that film. you learn something everyday. :-)

OK, back to work.

Fresh Baked Chocolate Cookies Chip(mmm...last night)

Friends who make me laugh
Knowing all hardships will pass if you hold the course (and learn to stay on budget lol)

A new shirt and tie, or to pull something together form what I've got that rocks

My friend redgtbear does something similar to your nearly daily "Today I'm Grateful For:" and "Today I Want:"... I'm gonna start swipin' the idea from the both of ya.

I want reddish ones. I'd have gotten them this week but I didn't have the money. Maybe next paycheck....

The lists are good to get you in the right frame of mind. I tend to get fixated on what's wrong or what I don't have. It's a trick I picked up in therapy a few years ago. very New Age, but then it was at The Men's Center. lol

just be grateful for Mr Bear's bed head - that could get ugly... ;-)

They're those Tollhouse fridge ones - you can undo the pouch and only make two. It's safer that way. ;-)

Thanks - I'm sure we will. These Gay Weddings are a trip - marriages for people who have been a couple for over a decade. Crazy.
