I have "I'm Going Back" from Bells are Ringing stuck in my head.

Looks like my company's up for sale. my team's still waiting to hear if we get laid off. I did hear that the lay off package is being cut in half. Oy.

My class is going to be pretty hard, but I'm going to get a tutor and hang in. i'm scared and nervous because I fell like I'm in over my head. I can do the math but don't understand the "why" of doing it one way or the other.

Mr Bear says I need to just learn the formulas and let the "why" go for now. It's not my nature but I'm gong to try...

Nothing else really going on - I spent 3 hours doing homework so there's not a lot to talk about. It's going to be a rough semester but I'm glad I;m doing it.
