Pre Lunch Weirdness

It's been a weird day so far. The folks who provide me with content were laid off Friday. All of them - an entire department out sourced. No one is sure what that means for my site. Then there's all the bad feeling in the company as a whole lately....
Ever get the feeling that the whole thing is just going to crap not matter what you do?
I'm not there yet, but that sentiment is is ringing through the comments of my co workers today. It's sad and oddly comforting - I'm usually the disgruntled one (or at least the one being vocal about being disgruntled) but lately I don't even have to say anything. Everyone else is spilling bile all over these calls. I guess that's what comes of a year of seemingly random lay offs.
Were still waiting to hear if we get laid off or not. The meeting was Friday but no one knows anything (allegedly).
I'm registered for school! After much drama I'm enrolled for PreCalc. I need 3 semesters of calc and they weren't going to let me talk Calc 1 without precalc or a test (which is only given before registration so I'd loose this semester)....anyway, it's my first class in 6 or 7 years, so a ramp up class is fine. :-) I'm glad to be back in school and moving in a direction for a change. Ideally, I'll find a drawing class (I'm rusty) at a local adult school near the house or something too.
OK, time for lunch.
