Gay Marriage: A prediction of what would happen if it were legal

• The American family will fail. (oh wait...)


• Gay people will be able to take children from their straight families as their own. (I have my eye on one up the street and am just biding my time).


• Straight couples will stop getting married or staying married because it will mean less to be "married". A huge spike in divorces will be followed by a collapse of the Wedding Industry as demand for absurdly expensive meals and meringue like dresses all but vanishes but "wedding bands' become more expensive and all custom made.


• School budgets will pass less often as straight people will no longer worry about "their kids" having books and working plumbing.


• Supermarkets will set aside an entire aisle for sex toys.
