Aug. 25th, 2009 08:38 pmYou know that feeling you get when you finish a book you've enjoyed? Sort of gratified and disappointed that you got the last cream puff? Yeah, I'm totally there. "The Lady and the Unicorn" wasn't fantastic but it was a good read. And it made me miss weaving.
Now it's too late to start something new (I'll be up all night) and I'm still in "reader" mode.
Things I Am Grateful For
My friends who make me laugh and keep me in check
Little adventures
Occasionally feeling like I'm good at my job
Having enough
My new lunchbox
The crazy cottage adventure
Humus
Variegated ivy
The way Gypsy settles on me when I read so she doesn't block the book
A bookstore IN TOWN
Perspective
Not taking myself or my life too seriously
The sound of crickets
Chinese yo-yos
Things I Want Tonight
A teddy bear
A bowler hat
