Rafael Lozano-Hemmer’s installation "Pulse Park"

After class a couple of us went to the diner, then Dominic and I went to see Rafael Lozano-Hemmer’s installation Pulse Park at Madison Square Park. I liked it though I saw something with the same base idea only with fire which was more intimate at Burning Man. I like both works but they sort of touched me differently. While you walked through the crossing light beams of the pulse in this one, it was an intellectualized thing. The other had pulse of fire which actually cast both heat and light in a small circle. It was more visceral and you didn't get "pulse" right away like you do with the lights. Plus this felt more polished and more communal in a way.
Anyway, I'm tired and it was fun.
