22nd Annual Lincoln Tunnel Challenge Fun Run/Walk
A USATF certified 5K (3.1 mile) fun run/walk from New Jersey to New York City and back via the Lincoln Tunnel. Awards, refreshments, entertainment and door prizes immediately following race.
Starts at 9AM and is a minimum $25 donation.
Walking through the Lincoln Tunnel is on my Life List. It's one of those non-pedestrian places I'm just fascinated with. Just about every time I drive through it I think about walking through it. Oddly, the Holland and Battery Tunnels don't hold the same fascination for me.
Anyway, I'm totally into doing this. It means I have to haul ass to get party stuff done earlier as it's the Sunday before but it'll be worth it. :-)
I have to get off from work.
