I'm calling to encourage the Assemblyman...

I can't find any info on when the vote will be for the domestic partner bill, which IS NOT marriage and actually grants fewer rights than our current Civil Union bill does. The aide in Assemblyman Wisniewski's office is going to try and find out when the vote will be and call me back. That's pretty cool of her.

So far, this has gotten almost no news coverage, which is a bit disconcerting. The worst part of calling is trying to pronounce everyone's names. Having made the calls, I now have no excuses left to NOT study for finals.
