The Early Bird Gets The Nap

I got out of work early and am unable to focus enough to do my English homework. It's like my brain just refuses to go there. I'm going to compile my "works cited" list for the paper anyway. That doesn't require that much engagement and at least it gets off my list. I'm trying to get as much done this weekend as I can so I can run amok on Monday.


Last night I went to see the 3-D version of "Nightmare Before Christmas". I LOVE this movie and think Burton is a genius but I couldn't help but be disappointed by the lack of cheesy in your face uses of 3-D. The film is gorgeous as always and really looked three dimensional but it never really broke the fourth wall. That said it still was a lot of fun. :-)


Tonight we're going to dinner for my birthday. I finally found a copy of "Rudolph" (on VHS, no less) and am going to digitize it after my homework. It was in the children's section of our library. I think the Children's librarian hates me - he totally stares me down when I go in there though I am always the only adult with out child supervision in the place. I suppose his suspicion is warranted though ill placed. Maybe I'll take a nap while it's recording...mmmm...naps.....
