My Computer just refuses to boot up

I have an appointment at the genius bar. It has been weird to not have my little eMac for the past couple of days. My "day off" is being shanghaied by a group project from school. Innthe back of my head i knew I should have just done it solo. {shrug}

At least I have part of it to "do nothing" and then tomorrow morning. The downside is I now have NO ambition to work on my English homework and paper.


We went to XXL last night and it was really fun. I needed a fun night out dancing. It's been all family and chorus commitments lately. Speaking of - I need to get up North to see my Aunt Catherine. She's visiting form Italy.

Ok, time for something to eat.

God Damn Safety Fixture

It isn't my computer. The GFi on that outlet (which is the first ion the string) triggered but not enough to actually pop all the way out - so when I pushed the reset (wishful thinking at the time) it didn't actually reset it. I just took it out of the wall to check the connections and it popped. I reset it and now everything is working beautifully - with the exception that I had to empty out a book case and my computer is now on the kitchen table making me look like a hopeful first time novelist in some B movie. You know the kind where they have no money but all the time in the world to sit with their shiny new computer writing or meeting their friends for drinks/coffee at some trendy place.

No, No, I'm not bitter.

Why do I still own so many cookbooks I never use? It's only a third of what I owned before but DAMN.

I'm off to meet with my group for the physics project (ick).

Weird - this didn't post. My clock is out of whack or something. Another random thing to fix....
