I bought myself a new calligraphy "pen" today as my old one has a bent tip and three beautiful notebooks. They are really plain but the paper has a lovely hand. I'm going to start the Artist's Way this week and wanted a nice journal. I've been feeling the pull of a hand written journal lately. I miss the sensuousness of it.
My first "solo" day at work went well. The thing about MRI I'm having to adjust to the most is that you more readily see more serious things than with an x-ray. I mean tumors and stuff. Patients also tend to have more serious issues than those we had for x-rays, but that's also due to the place I was/am doing x-rays I think. I like it but I can tell I'll be able to cacth up on all kinds of reading once I get up to speed. :-)
Mr Bear might go out tonight. I'm tired and have to be at work in the morning. I told him to go out with out me. He's been working like crazy lately and needs to have some fun. If I go, we'll be about about an hour before it's time to come home. Did I mention I'm tired too?
I heard a woman on NPR talking about porcupines and now I keep thinking about them. Porcupines, I mean. I wonder what they feel like to touch and what the quills are like. I know that they're hollow and are used for beading but I've never held one (that I recall). Are they aggressive or passive animals? Just another thing to wonder about.
