Notes on Polarity

Sometimes my journal reads like I am completely unhinged. I'm angry and ranting and then I'm "normal" again. The truth is I'ma venter. I get angry and I need to walk away from the situation and just spew about it. After I've let the steam out I can deal with it.

Just an observation worth noting.

They're installing ur new dyer right now. :-) Granted, installation is hooking up the gas line and plugging it in, but I am THRILLED to not have had to carry it upstairs or to try and get rid of the old one. Plus our month of festive clothing hanging on every surface has ended. :-) I'm still going to put a clothes line up in the spring.

Susan Sontag passed away on Tuesday. I haven't really been able to articulate the impression her essays made on me or how sad I am at her being gone. She is some one I always thought I'd meet one day. Just another member of the fabulous dinner party I imagined my life to be that won't be able to attend.

Ok, the dryer guys just left. We're back in the laundry business!


I'm going to throw a load in and get back to work.

Suddenly, our home network no longer works. The computer in the studio has just ceased to exist. it shows itself to be connected ot the WiFi network but won't allow me to reach the other computers or the internet.

i really don't need this today.
