Dance, Monkey! Dance!
Sep. 14th, 2004 08:51 amI have my first Chemistry quiz today. I hate first quizzes because you really have no idea what the format is like or what type if questions the professor favors. I'm going to study some more today, but I think I'll do OK.
The tiredness continues, but today I'm certain it's mostly from staying up late to wait for Mr Bear to get home from chorus practice. I sleep better when I know he's home - otherwise I'm still half awake listening to make sure he got home OK. I know, I sound like someone's mother....
My favorite song at the moment is "Dive" by Debbie Holiday. I played it 3 times this morning. I need to get a copy of it that isn't premixed into something else. I don't like coming into a song mid intro. Anyway, it's fun and makes me all dancey in my car.
My commute is now officially 1 hour and 15 minutes. I haven't been able to break that in ages. At least I have a CD player and a decent stereo. It would really suck otherwise.
It's so weird to me that people seem so miserable on the road in the morning. I mean, you have this block of time to yourself. Get books on cassette or something if you don't want to sing along to the radio and dance. I so rarely see anyone else trying to enjoy themselves on their way to/from work. It's sad.
OK, time to get to work and maybe a little flash cards.
