I've been bouncing between 196 and 200 for two weeks. I'm still working out but not pushing to loose weight. I'm not counting one day of eating each week - sort of a epicurean vacation.

I'm good where I am. Would I love to be thinner and more built? Of course, but right now I'm really healthy, I feel great and I am happy. I'll keep working out. I enjoy it and how my body feels from it. But I'm going to focus on maintaining where I am for a while. If I drop some weight, great, but I'm not going to obsess over it.

I figure 50 lbs is a ton of weight to loose in 6 months. I'll maintain for a while - maybe 6 months, maybe a year - and try to drop that last 20 or so. I don't want to feel trapped in dieting mode and I'm worried I'm going to get too obsessed with the scale.

Anyway, that's the view from this plateau - it's a nice one. I feel great, I look good and I'm happy.

Now I'm gonna go walk the dogs and do a little studio time (after I sweep the kitchen and stairs - I've been tracking grass everywhere).

For it to clear up so we can go to the beach
More money for New Orleans (just a little please ;-))
