Sun in The Sky, You Know How I Feel
Jun. 4th, 2004 09:25 amIt is a Beautiful Day outside. I'm working from home and have no hope of finishing early today. I won't work OT, but I can't in good conscience log out early with a lot undone in my inbox.
I'm really mellow today. It's one of those moods where you want to watch a sappy movie and cry because you feel sad for no real reason. Either that or go out and do something fun and turn the mood on it's end and become exuberant. Neither is going to happen during the work day, unfortunately.
Maybe later I can shoot for exuberance.
I'm almost done with Richard's tear away pants. I just need to put two more snaps on them to make them a little more secure at the waist. They aren't pretty but they're almost done. I have a lot of things I want to do around the house, a few sewing projects and that "Assistant" piece I got the boxes for. We have no plans tbhis weekend (yeah!) but a lot of house stuff to get done. Still, it'll be nice and relaxing and we'll check some stuff off our lists.
I'm going to call Mr Bear's Mom (a first) and ask to borrow her carpet cleaner. It's a biggie for me to get off my "Spring Cleaning" list. that and the windows are the biggest part. Organizing closets and the kitchen cabinets aren't as major.
Anyway, time to get back to work. My back is killing me from being hunched over my key board all week. Which reminds me I need to get a local doctor and chiropractor. I also need to move my prescriptions to a local pharmacist. There's always something to do....
Things I Am Grateful For
Chicken Rice Fun soup (sp?)
Mr Bear's good humored conservativeness
Having enough
Bath salts with sea shell to scoop them out
The way the dogs feet twitch when they sleep
Sunlight
Knowing my job is not who I am
Things I Want Today
Beach time
A massage (even just my lower back would rock)
4 or 5 flats of Vincas (white) and some white geraniums
Sorbet (pretty open on this one, but Passion Fruit would rock)
