State of the Home Address
Jun. 2nd, 2004 10:33 amI'm working from home today. It's beautiful out and I don't want to work. I have a lot of house stuff to do and even more work. At least I can get a few domestic things done at lunch. Working from home just makes me feel like I have more to do than I would if I was in the office. It's weird.
I have all the windows open to get some fresh air in the house. I love fresh air. :-) Tonight my big plans are to finish making tear away pants for the guy from the chorus and watch the end of "Funny Girl". I'm going to work out as well.
Spring cleaning hasn't even begun and it's already June! I don't have a lot to do, but they're things that I think should get done. Among them:
I would also love to get the basement organized, but that just isn't realistic. It's funny - people will wonder what a stay at home Mom does and I always wonder who does all the things she can't do because she's working? Not that I am a Mom but I am the 'househusband', as it's more my thing than Mr Bear's. I don't think I could stay home full time, but a local job where I got those two hours of commuting back would do wonders for the state of the house.
I weighed in today. it was disappointing but not earth shattering. I've reached the point where I need to commit to eating well as a 'life change' or just stop and accept where that puts me. I'm trying to make the change. I feel great and I'd love to keep that.
Anyway, time to get back to work.

- Wash the windows
- Seal the driveway
- Clean out the linen closet
- Organize the kitchen
- Clean the carpets
- Start planting and mulching in the back yard
