Sometimes it's nice to be an airhead...
Mar. 5th, 2004 10:19 amor "Just Pretty" as someone once called me. though I don't think I'm "Just" anything and not "pretty" especially.
Anyway, I thought I had an exam today and was all stressed out but it's actually next Friday. :-)
Some weird and exciting stuff coming up but I don't want to jinx it by writing/talking about it. Suffice to say I feel suddenly grown up and it's not all bad.
The title of this reminds me of a story involving my friend Megan. She was waiting in line to register (yes, I'm old enough to remember thousands of people standing in line to get their classes before you did it on line or on the phone...) and started talking to the girl in front of her. This was the fun part of registering - meeting people in different majors who you'd probably never run into. Anyway, they start talking and the girl is an Education major and ask Megan her major. When megan says "Film" they begin talking about making movies. The girl says it must be hard to make a film because you need all those ideas. Then she says "I have no thoughts." to which Megan replies "That must be painful."
Megan has the best response time. She still cracks me up. Another classic Meganism is her response to my "I'm torn. I don't know what to do." (which I used to say a lot). One day she responded "Well put yourself back together and make a decision."
OK, I have to go to the other building. The company sent me a gift for my 5 year anniversary. It's hard to believe I've been here 5 years! I've wanted to leave since day one. I guess this counts as my staying in a bad relationship too long.

To be able to save up money
To get Mr Bear to pick a paver for the patio so I can finish it.
