To Paint or Not To Paint

Um, I have really mixed feeling about that...lol

I'm "working" form home today but the email system is really slow due to the virus. I've gotten through 3 messages since 9 AM.

I'm really tempted to go buy paint and paint the bedroom. Maybe I will...

In other news, I FINALLY watched "Lost in Translation" last night. I loved it. I especially loved that you can't make out what he says to her at the end. There's something wonderful about how open ended it makes the film and how the meaning/resolution is left to the viewer. I may write more about it later after I digest it some more.

OK, time to go get some more water and maybe an apple...and maybe paint!

Bemused, BeSpackled and Bewildered

I was good and actually spackled the old nail holes first so I'm waiting to paint. The coilor is something close to the background in my gorey icon (this one). I'm a little nervous about it but it should be OK.

This is my first "strong" color in this house. The family room is a dark beige (given, it's a suede finish) so it's not so dramatic on the color side. I threw a little on the wall to try and judge it. It probably freaked me out more than helped.

My aunt is down here taking a emergency response class and is taking me to dinner. If the spackle is dry I'll paint after that. :-)
