What Do You Think?

OK, this video was posted on Facebook. It really bothers me to see this kid ape sexually suggestive dance like this. While I know he is playing and mimicking something he enjoys (brilliantly, I might add) I just find it alarming. Take out a few of the moves and I'm totally OK.

It ins't gender (boy in drag portraying a girl - nonissue). It is the age and the sexual nature of the movements. I've been really thinking about this for a while trying to boil it down to WHY it bothers me and if I am over reacting.

I know I am pretty conservative when it comes to children. Too much so at times I think. It is something I am working on.

So - what are your thoughts on this video? Does it bother you? Why? Would it be different if it was a girl? If the kid was older? Not in drag?

Wandering by and saw the post, and have seen you in other parts. Could not see the vid, however a question arose: Were you bothered because *you* were interpreting the moves in a particular way and that in any other adult context witnessing such moves would garner a sexual response from you?

There is a little of that. An adult doing some of those moves would be sexual and that's what prompts my fear of another adult being sexually aroused by it, I'm a little over protecrtive of kids.
