Will we, as the winners of an emotionally intense race, treat those who did not get what they wanted with grace and respect? Will we repeat 2000 but with different colors?
Be excited, be hopeful, but be kind. He is Our President, just as Bush is now. We all have a right to our point of view about him, racism and xenophobia aside. Remember how many of us felt when Bush was sworn in.
