I'm channeling Robert Bly today, SO I am refraining from commenting on anyone's journal. My apologies to [livejournal.com profile] chastmastr, as he's already suffered my half baked cerebrations.

I have a take home quiz due tomorrow. I have no idea how to do the things on the quiz. I don't even remember going over them.

That isn't a good sign.

Our final is next week, though I will miss the last class of the year as I'll be in Austin for work. To be honest, I don't think that class would help me with the final - unless he gave out the problems in advance. I can't wait for this class to be over.

I am glad that I took PreCalc as it made me realize that I don't have the temperament or aptitude to get my masters in computer science. I need to know the "why" of things and straight math, etc. makes no sense to me. I'm a good coder, but I'd probably suffer through the classes.

So, I basically want to do well enough to get reimbursed for my tuition and get passed the class. Two more weeks. It seems like forever and the final makes me nervous. I only have to pass it. I think I can do better than that, but I need to really start focusing and reviewing.

OK, enough procrastinating. Work is sort of busy and I am enjoying being productive.

Ahhhh

Oh my god that call was long and I had to pee the whole time. I was seriously contemplating the watering can on my desk...

It's beautiful out and I need to study. That is SO wrong.

"Morvern Callar"

Has anyone else seen this film? I'm curious what you thought if you did. I'm still thinking it over (I just watched it). I will say
Isn't it a little creepy to be routing for a girl who cut up her dead boyfriend?

It was wonderfully shot and reminded me of "Breaking the Waves", but without the motion sickness.

Let see...what else can I do before bed to avoid studying?

And one last thought - Why am I still next in line for "The Umbrellas of Cherbourg"? I requested it the day before it was released!
